Ashley + Dan | Married

Ashley and Dan’s wedding was my last wedding of 2015, and it was an awesome day to end the year with!

I shot their engagement photos in Sauble over the summer, and I could tell right away they were my kind of people. There are so many things about this day I loved that if I described it all this blog post would just be way too long:o

Let me just list off a few:

*THAT DRESS, it brought some classic vibes to the photos and looked SO good on Ash (legs for days, seriously).

*We shot in a museum and so therefore have photos with dinosaurs, hilarious and awesome *check*.

*Their reception had a cocktail vibe that I’ve never seen before. There was no arranged seating, (but still had seats) so there was a lot more socializing and movement which was cool to see.

*The people. I really enjoyed hanging out with all of their friends and family all day, it was very fun and relaxed.

I have so many more things I could say about this day but I’ll stop blabbing on and let you take a look for yourself:)

Thank you again Ashley + Dan for an awesome day of shooting!

Teresa | Photo Session

A while ago in the summer I did a small session with Teresa, and we did a second shoot right before the winter came.

This girl is a pleasure to shoot:) She’s super kind, down to earth and full of so many stories.

You can follow her adventures in food, travel, music and more on her blog Sixnie and Salt.

Here are some shots from our second shoot, Enjoy!

Allison + Mat | Married

Allison, her mom, and myself had a pre-wedding timeline meeting at Allisons parents where the first look and reception were  to be held. From the moment I got there, I was so excited for this wedding!

Being at their home, I got to see all of the fun spots on and around their property for photos as we chatted about their day to come.

When the day came, it was nothing but fun, fun, fun!  There was never a dull moment, (especially at the reception!)

Allison had told me that her dance with her father would be pretty funny, and it definitely was. They whooshed all across the dance floor, whipping around and laughing hysterically, with some moves I’ve never seen before.  I couldn’t stop laughing, it was one for the books!

They also had games involving massive blow up dice. Some results included: kiss the groom (Mat got a lot of kisses from many people), do an impression of the bride and groom (they’re both wrestlers so that got intense haha), take a shot and more.

All in all it was a great day, these two are super awesome and I wish them all the best!

Here is a sneak peek into their day!

Jenny + Craig | Married

Jenny and Craig got married at the Steckle Heritage Farm.

The ceremony was outdoors surrounded by apple trees, and the reception was inside a beautifully decorated barn.

There were loads of laughs, games, and extreme dance moves [that got better as the night went on]!

It was an awesome day, and I’m so happy to have been a part of it:)

FUN FACT: Years ago I shot Jenny’s moms wedding in Dominican Republic. It was the first wedding I ever shot on my own so it was really cool to also photograph her daughters wedding and see so many friendly, familiar faces.

Here is a sneak peek!

Enjoy.
